Partnership working is central to what we do. As a small
voluntary artist-led organisation we rely on forming strategic partnerships
with organisations across the region to deliver exciting programmes focused
on the use of 3D technologies by artists, architects and designers. We
have enjoyed successful relationships in the past with Digital Summer,
MIRIAD, Manchester Metropolitan
University, The Museum of Science and
Industry Manchester amongst others. This year sees Fast-uk moving beyond
Manchester to work with folly on the 'Perimeters,
Boundaries and Borders' exhibition taking place in Lancaster.
folly is a media arts organisation
established to cultivate innovation, enable participation and celebrate
excellence in emergent practice. folly is interested in how society makes
sense of the world through art and technology. folly works across sectors
to challenge traditional arts values by acting as facilitators and producers
of engaging and rich experiences, enabling artists and audiences to rethink
content, value and meaning of the arts. folly works at the heart of the
creative process in partnership and in dialogue with artists, curators
and audiences. Specialising in the creative use of technology, folly is
involved with projects including the web, creative software, mobile communications,
sound, animation, photography and moving image. For more information
on folly please visit their website at http://www.folly.co.uk
